SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Our safety guidelines, COVID 19 measures? We produce all of our cookies in a home kitchen in Burlingame, CA. We produce 30-35 orders per day, 3 days a week. We adhere to the guidelines laid out by San Mateo County to maintain a clean and safe work environment and we have taken extra precautions to minimize the risk of COVID-19 including wearing masks and gloves to bake, package product, and deliver. 

ORDERS, SHIPPING & TRACKING

When should I expect my order to be delivered? We bake fresh daily, and ship to you as fast as we can. For all CA and NV orders, we ship next day and we bake and ship to these locations Monday through Thursday; for all WA, OR, ID, UT and AZ orders, it's 2-day and we ship Monday through Wednesday. 

Is there a minimum order size? Yes, we have a minimum order size of 12 cookies - you can order 2 x 6 packs but must be a minimum of 12 cookies.

Can you do multiple deliveries from one order? Not yet. Our system only allows for one delivery location per order with a minimum of 12 cookies per order. If you would like us to do multiple deliveries, please place each order separately through our system. Thanks for being patient while we perfect our ordering processes. If you run into issues, please email info@sugardanny.com and we’d be happy to assist you.

Changing your order, edits, changes to recipients, or addresses.  Because we do small batch production runs and only bake 3 days per week, we usually need three days in advance to make a change. If you have a last minute change, we will do our best to accommodate you but can’t promise... 

How will the cookies be wrapped? All of our cookies are individually wrapped in recyclable cellophane to keep them fresh and make them easier to share. And we use gift bags or boxes to leave them on your door. Every order looks like a gift! We’re still working on the shipping boxes and should have those in the next 3-5 weeks! 

Gift messaging. Please indicate in your special delivery instructions during checkout if you would like to include gift messaging and include your name on the card. We do not provide invoices currently with our cookie deliveries. Please also include the recipient's email and phone number so we can be sure to reach them upon delivery.

Birthdays, weddings...Will you do a custom cookie? Probably not. We are doing a small handful of company orders -- employee rewards, celebrations -- but these don’t include special cookies, often special packaging and deliver.

Do you do Company orders? Yes. We love celebrating the holidays, rewarding employees for a job well done. Please send us an email at info@sugardanny.com and we can figure out the best way to spark joy. 

PRODUCTS

Do you make a gluten free cookie?  Not yet, we might consider doing one in the future!

Are there nuts in your cookies? Yes. Four of our cookies have nuts (PB Crunch, PB Crunch + Chocolate, Rocky Road, Chocolate PB Chips). And while we maintain a squeaky clean kitchen, we cook on shared equipment and you should take precaution if you are allergic.

The best way to enjoy your SugarDanny cookies...

Our cookies are baked fresh daily with a goal of delivering them to your doorstep in less than 2 days. These delights should be enjoyed within 5 days of receiving your care package. They are great as is, but if you like them warm, heat your oven to 350 and warm them up for 3-5 minutes or until they’re warm and gooey. 

How long will the cookies stay fresh? We bake our cookies fresh every other day with a goal of getting them to you within 24 hours of baking. We don’t use any preservatives in our cookies and heat seal them in individual packaging -- but we recommend that you finish them up within 5 days.  If you can’t eat them all in one sitting, freeze them to enjoy later, they’ll keep for about 30 days (but we know you won’t be able to resist their siren call for that long). Just make sure you don’t put them in the fridge, or reheat in the microwave, it’ll make them dry and tough.

RETURNS, REFUNDS, & EXCHANGES

Return Policy. SugarDanny is here to spark joy, and sometimes things don’t go according to plan. Unfortunately we do not accept returns or offer refunds on any goods sold. And we are not responsible for delays caused by our shipping partners either. But if you have an issue, please please let us know and we will do our best to make it right. If our shipping partners mishandled your package, please let us know.
